Whether you are searching for Army LEGOs, Star Wars LEGOs, Space Police LEGOs or Ben 10 LEGOs, did you know that LEGOs have had a long history of creating these fabulous mind-inspiring building sets? Selling more than 200 million LEGO sets a year worldwide, LEGO is a favorite amongst children and parents. These toys inspire creativity and develop problem-solving skills for even your youngest children.

Seeded in a rich history, LEGO started way back in 1932 in Denmark with the carpenter Kirk Christiansen. In 1934, Christiansen adopted the name LEGO for his wooden toys, which came from the Danish “Leg GOdt” which is interpreted as “play well” in English. Run by a small contingent of no more than a dozen employees, the popular toy had its ups and downs, including a tragic fire in 1942. They rebuilt soon after, and in 1947 purchased a new technology, a plastic-moulding machine, which eventually output the famous LEGO bricks. In 1950, another fire destroyed the toy manufacturer and the family soon decided to focus on the plastic toy business exclusively, abandoning the wooden toy manufacturing business of the past. As the years progressed, LEGO continued to output more and more products and sets to add to their already popular LEGO brick business. In 1967, they introduced the now popular DUPLO brand, which were made for the 5 and under set, with larger more child-friendly pieces, which would not pose a choking hazard to users. Of course now, the company continues to build on their brand by adding robotic models, movable people, western-themed sets, along with famous brand-name themed products such as Ben 10 and Star Wars.

LEGO is still owned and operated by the same Danish family today. When looking for army LEGOs, you will be excited about your choices. In their army sets, you can find the Toy Story Army Men on Patrol, the Star Wars Army Trooper Pack, and the Army of Vikings with Heavy Artillery Wagon. Toys range in price from $10 to around $40 and are available for purchase online and at your local toy retailer. So, buy a little creativity for your children, you are guaranteed to be giving them many hours of fun.
